Analyze Sustainability Activities Using Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence
Analyze and report on sustainability activities using the new subject area Sustainability - Activities Real Time within Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI).
The Sustainability - Activities Real Time subject area lets you build analyses and reports that help you gain real-time insights into sustainability activities, and identify data anomalies and actions to correct them.
You can build real-time analytics and reports by using any of the following:
- Attributes of sustainability activities such as Activity Type, Activity Date, Legal Entity, Sustainability Ledger and Ledger Period, Item, Supplier, Data Source, and Payables Invoice.
- Activity Type Attributes and descriptive flexfield segments on an activity.
- Attributes that are at the Measures, Emissions, or Validation Alerts level.
You can also use predefined metrics under the Facts - Sustainability Activities folder to report on the total CO2e emissions, count of activities in various statuses, total activities, or activities with alerts.
Steps to Enable
Leverage new subject area(s) by adding to existing reports or using in new reports. For details about creating and editing reports, see the Creating and Administering Analytics and Reports book (available from the Oracle Help Center > your apps service area of interest > Books > Administration).
Tips And Considerations
- The predefined metric for Total CO2e emissions under the Facts - Sustainability Activities folder will not consider canceled activities.
- Activity type attributes and Activity descriptive flexfield attributes won't be visible in the subject area by default. Therefore, perform the procedure described in Enable Descriptive Flexfields in Oracle Business Intelligence to make these attributes visible.
