Redwood: Navigate to Tasks and View Key Performance Indicators Using the Purchasing Landing Page
As a buyer, use the Purchasing landing page to view your most recently accessed purchase orders and quickly navigate to your frequently accessed tasks. You can also view key performance indicators and data visualizations that are enabled by your company's procurement administrator.
When you log into the application, you'll see an icon to launch the landing page:
New Tile to Access Purchasing Landing Page
On the landing page, you'll see a list of your most recent purchase orders, up to 25. Purchase orders are added to this list when you view them or perform specific actions, such as opening the PDF or duplicating an order.
Landing Page
You will also see a list of quick actions or links to tasks you may need to access as part of your job. Selecting the View all actions link will allow you to pin your favorite links to this panel.
Pin Quick Actions
If you're an administrator, you can create your own scorecards by adding KPIs and data visualizations that best represent your business and are critical for your buyers to see. You can do this using the Edit Page Layout button on the landing page.
Edit Page Layout
From the Edit Page Layout page, drag the KPI content to the scoreboard region. Drag the corresponding visualization to the area below the scoreboard.
Add OTBI-Based KPIs and Visualization to the Landing Page
NOTE: In order for these KPIs and visualizations to appear as eligible options on the landing page, you must first add them to the Visualization Configurations page. This page can be accessed using this URL: https://<servername>/fscmUI/redwood/cx-analytics/application/container/dvconfig

Steps to Enable
To access the new Purchasing landing page, you must enable the Redwood Page for Purchasing Overview Enabled (ORA_PO_PURCHASING_OVERVIEW_REDWOOD_ENABLED) profile option. By default, this profile option is disabled.
To enable the profile option, follow these steps:
- In the Setup and Maintenance work area, search and select the Manage Administrator Profile Values task.
- On the Manage Administrator Profile Values page, search for and select the profile option name or code.
- Set the Profile Value to Y.
- Click Save and Close. Changes in the profile value will affect users the next time they sign in.
Tips And Considerations
- You can't remove the seeded scorecard using the Edit Page Layout action.
- As of this release, OTBI visualizations aren't interactive on the landing page. You can view data in various formats, but drilling down into any element is not possible.
- When adding KPIs and data visualizations to the Visualization Configurations page, the KPIs must have Visualization Type set to "Metric Card'.
- As of this release, you can't unpin the seeded quick actions.
