Redwood: Use and Configure Redwood-Style Requisition Approval FYI Notifications

Send workflow notifications in a Redwood style and format for Self Service Procurement transactions. You can use Oracle Analytics Publisher to configure the notification content to meet your specific business requirements. This update brings a consistent and fresh look to both email and worklist notifications, providing a seamless Redwood user experience.. 

Here are some highlights:

• The following notifications now have Redwood style incorporated:
  • Requisition Approved FYI
  • Requisition Rejected FYI
  • Requisition Returned by Buyer FYI
  • Requisition Withdrawn FYI
  • Requisition Reassigned FYI
  • Requisition Canceled FYI

Steps to Enable

Use the Opt In UI to enable this feature. For instructions, refer to the Optional Uptake of New Features section of this document.

Offering: Procurement

After you enable the feature, follow these steps to configure the template for internal supplier registration FYI notifications:

1. Sign in to the Analytics Publisher server directly (for example: http://<hostname.com>:7001/xmlpserver) and click on the catalog tab.
2. In the Folders pane, locate the Requisition Approval Status FYI Notification Report, Requisition Returned FYI Notification Report, Requisition Withdrawn FYI Notification Report, Requisition Reassigned FYI Notification Report, or Requisition Lines Canceled FYI Notification Report template under this path: Shared Folders > Procurement > Self Service Procurement. Click More and then click Customize. This creates a copy of the template in the Shared Folders > Custom > Procurement > Self Service Procurement folder.
3. Access this template in the Custom folder.
4. Edit the template with your required changes. 
5. Upload the template (select the appropriate locale for your instance). 
6. For these templates, the data model is Requisition Approval E-Mail Data Model.

Tips And Considerations

• The Requisition Approved FYI Notification will be sent to the requester after the approver approves the requisition.
• The Requisition Reject FYI notification will be sent to the Preprarer when a Requisition is rejected. Also in case of Budgetary Control enabled requisitions, when there are no funds, even if the requisition is approved, it is set to rejected.
• Individual attributes without data are hidden in the notification.

Access Requirements

Users who are assigned a configured job role that contains this existing privilege can access this feature in Oracle Fusion Self Service Procurement:

• Manage Requisition (POR_MANAGE_REQUISITION_PRIV_OBI)

Administrators who are assigned a configured job role that contains this duty role can configure the notifications with Oracle Analytics Publisher:

• BI Author Role (BIAuthor)
