Mass Update Contract Internal Contact

The 'Assign Contract Owner' scheduled process has been enhanced to update not only the contract owner but also the internal party contact, deliverable contact, and deliverable requester of contracts. This process has been renamed 'Mass Update Contract Internal Contacts' to better reflect its expanded functionality.

As part of this enhancement, some of the existing fields have been renamed to better align with the updated capabilities of the 'Mass Update Contract Internal Contacts' scheduled process.

The criteria for selecting contracts remain unchanged. Only the contracts that meet these selection criteria will be considered for updating. In all the below scenarios, the existing contact (specified in the 'Existing Contact' parameter) will be replaced with the new contact specified in the 'New Contact' parameter.

 Update Contract Owner
  •  Checkbox is checked - Existing contract owner will be updated, or a new contract owner will be added. This is an existing functionality
  • Checkbox unchecked - No contract owner will be updated or added
Update Party Contact
  • Checkbox is checked - The internal party contact (Edit Contract UI->Parties tab-> Business Unit->Teams region->Row with Owner checkbox unchecked) will be updated to New Contact
  • Checkbox unchecked - No internal party contacts will be updated
Update Deliverable Contact and Requester
  • Checkbox is checked - For all the deliverable definitions and instances in Open, Submitted and Rejected statuses, the Internal Party Contact and Requester will be updated to New Contact
  • Checkbox unchecked - No deliverable contact or requester will be updated 

This enhancement allows for efficient bulk updates of internal party contacts across multiple contracts, eliminating the need for manual individual updates, which can be time-consuming and prone to error.
