Redwood: Simulate Policy Assignments Using a New User Experience

With this update, you can review and adjust policy parameters within the selected policy assignment set, simulating the impact of proposed changes across specific segments. The intuitive Redwood user interface enables you to assess the effects of these changes through simulation, compare results, and make informed decisions prior to implementing the changes. This process enhances responsiveness and policy management, driving better business outcomes with confidence.

To simulate policy assignments, follow these steps:

  1. In your replenishment plan, on the More Actions menu, select View More.
  2. In the Actions drawer, in Plan Actions, click Simulate Policy Assignments.

The Simulate Policy Assignments page opens with the policy assignment set that’s specified in the plan. Notice that the page is the same as the Redwood page for the policy assignment set. You can review the policy parameters first and then decide to modify some of them to perform plan simulations to improve the plan results for your business needs.
