Redwood: View the Planning Advisor Using a New User Experience
The Planning Advisor alerts you to insights that are applicable to you. Previously, the Planning Advisor gave you insights about planning data quality. With this update, you can now get insights about the results of hyperparameter tuning and alerts about the availability of forecasts from an external model.
You can open the Planning Advisor for demand and demand and supply plans from the More Actions menu if there are one or more notifications.

Currently, the Planning Advisor includes three types of notifications:
- Plan messages summary (added in 25C)
- Summary of hyperparameter tuning
- External machine learning forecast
A row is added for each notification of the types of summary of hyperparameter tuning and external machine learning forecast. The number of added rows depends on the number of notifications created when plans are run with forecasting profiles. In contrast, a single row is added for the notification type of plan messages summary for each successful plan run.
By default, the 25 most recent notifications of the types of summary of hyperparameter tuning and external machine learning forecast are listed in the descending order by date. You need to scroll down in the drawer to see the next 25 notifications.
The notification name is the notification type. To view a notification of the type of summary of hyperparameter tuning or external machine learning forecast, you need to click the icon to the right of the notification name.

For the notification types of summary of hyperparameter tuning and external machine learning forecast, the name of the forecasting profile is provided as a subtitle in the drawer. You can return to the Planning AI advisor drawer by clicking the Planning AI advisor link.

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.
Tips And Considerations
The functionality for opening a page directly from a notification of the type of summary of hyperparameter tuning is planned for a future update.
The notification type of summary of hyperparameter tuning is applicable to only demand plans, and the notification type of external machine learning forecast is applicable to demand and demand and supply plans.

- Edit Forecasting Profiles (MSC_EDIT_FORECASTING_PROFILES_PRIV)

- Edit Plans (MSC_EDIT_PLANS_PRIV)
