Redwood: Access Setup Tasks Using Quick Actions

A warehouse expansion, merger or acquisition, process change, or any number of situations can dictate that you need to to modify certain setups. To simplify the process of changing application setups, you can now access all setup tasks for Oracle Fusion Cloud Inventory Management directly from the Supply Chain Execution home page using quick actions. This capability enables you to directly navigate to setup tasks without the need to enter the Setup and Maintenance work area, and it's particularly useful for those Redwood setup tasks that require ongoing maintenance. All setup tasks are segregated by product. For example, all Inventory Management Redwood setups tasks are listed under the Inventory Setup grouping.

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Tips And Considerations

  • Only Redwood setup tasks are displayed as quick actions.
  • Only Redwood setup tasks where you have the appropriate security access are displayed.
  • You can continue to access Redwood setup tasks from the Setup and Maintenance work area.

Access Requirements

Users who are assigned a configured job role that contains these duty roles can access this feature:

  • Inventory Administration Duty (ORA_INV_INVENTORY_ADMINISTRATION_DUTY)
  • Receiving Administration Duty (ORA_RCV_RECEIVING_ADMINISTRATION_DUTY)
  • Shipping Administration Duty (ORA_WSH_SHIPPING_ADMINISTRATION_DUTY)
