Redwood: Create Receipt Deliveries Using a Mobile Device

When non-work related packages and gift orders show up at your receiving dock, you need to ensure these packages are delivered to whoever they are addressed to. Prior to this release, if you are using a mobile device in your receiving process, you would  set these packages aside and later use the receipt deliveries page to create an ad hoc delivery. Now, you can create these ad hoc deliveries in real-time using a mobile device.

This feature helps optimize your receiving process by allowing users to create deliveries for nonwork-related and gift packages that need to be delivered to the addressee in real time.

Steps to Enable

Follow these steps to enable or disable this feature:

  1. In the Setup and Maintenance work area, search for and select the Manage Receiving Profile Options task.
  2. On the Manage Receiving Profile Options page, search for and select the ORA_RCV_MOBILE_RECEIPT_DELIVERY_REDWOOD_ENABLED profile option code.
  3. In the Profile Values section, set the Site level to Yes or No. The default value is No.
  • Yes - Enables the feature
  • No - Disables the feature
  1. Click Save and Close. Changes in the profile value will affect users the next time they sign in.

Users who are assigned a configured job role that contains this privilege can access this feature:

  • Create Ad Hoc Delivery (RCV_CREATE_ADHOC_DELIVERY_PRIV)
