Redwood: Manage Profit Center Party Relationships Using a New User Experience

A profit center BU is a part of your company that's tracked separately for profitability, revenue, and costs. Profit centers can engage in trade agreements with other profit centers for various business flows including global procurement, drop shipments, intercompany inventory transfers, internal transfers, and nonshippable sales.

With the new Redwood page, you can now:

  • Easily search for and view existing relationships.
  • Apply filter chips to narrow results by supplier, customer, customer account number, and more.
  • Use quick actions to edit or delete relationships.
  • Create new profit center mappings directly from the page.

Tips And Considerations

  • Enable all pages in Redwood to ensure a seamless and cohesive workflow with a better user experience.
  • The improved usability includes revised field labels and informative text, making it easier to understand the setup’s applicability for buyer and seller profiles.
  • You can use the notes component to capture and reference additional information for a profit center BU.
  • A built in audit trail is available through specific details such as created by, creation date, last updated by, and last updated date. This helps you track when a qualifier rule was created and who made the last changes.

  • You can view both the ADF and Redwood versions when accessing this page through Setup and Maintenance.
