Issue and Return Materials Efficiently Using Industrial Handheld Devices

In manufacturing environments with fast-paced operations where multiple components are used in an operation, it is common to use industrial handheld mobile devices to report production activities. The use of handheld devices offers flexibility, convenience, and faster reporting in real time. With this update, operators can perform material transactions from mobile devices, including industrial handheld devices. Operators can:

  • Scan or enter quantities for material issue and return.
  • Report material transactions for all component types.

You can also access Mobile Manufacturing UIs from Quick Actions under Production Reporting.

While performing a material issue or return transaction, the user can:

  • Specify a Country of Origin.
  • Use the common or project inventory in a project and task enabled organization.
  • Specify the License Plate Number (LPN) details in an LPN enabled organization.
