Redwood: View Production Transaction History Using a New User Experience

Historical production transaction records include detailed transactions and data gathered through the manufacturing execution lifecycle of an item. These records include material consumption, labour and equipment usage, operation and inventory completion, lot traceability, serialization, quality inspections, and machine operating conditions. This history supports managing manufacturing deviations and rework, conducting quality investigations, and meeting compliance audit requirements.

In a prior release, you could view the transaction history for a specific work order using the Redwood work order history page. Now, with the enhanced Redwood user experience, you can search for and view the production transaction history for work orders, flow schedules, and orderless executions. Users benefit from faster and more intuitive transaction retrieval, customizable and reusable search preferences, improved navigation through categorized tabs, and enhanced access to supplementary production and inspection data.

Transaction Categories by Work Method

  • Production transactions are now organized into distinct categories: discrete and process manufacturing work orders, flow schedules, and orderless executions.
  • Each category appears in a separate tab, allowing users to quickly navigate and focus on their specific area of interest.

Search and Filtering Capabilities

  • The updated experience includes a robust search and filtering engine, optimized for performance and usability.
  • You can quickly locate transactions using search criteria such as Work Order Number, Item Serial Number, or Lot Number.
  • A comprehensive set of filters, such as Transaction Type, Item Number, Work Center, Workstation, and Production Line for flow schedules, enables you to narrow down results and streamline the review process.
  • To ensure timely retrieval of data, at least one date filter is required when conducting searches. Users must provide one or more date range filters to support efficient queries, especially when dealing with large transaction histories.

Saved Search Functionality

Frequently used search configurations can be saved for future use, enabling users to quickly reapply their preferred search criteria.

View Production Transaction Details

Monitor historical transactions in a table with sortable columns, allowing sorting in both ascending and descending order. The production transaction history now displays additional details, such as:

  • Work order type
  • Production line for flow schedules
  • Output type and primary output
  • Traceability information including lot, serial, license plate number, supply subinventory, supply locator, completion subinventory, and completion locator
  • Created by and creation date information

Configure Column Display for the Transaction History Table

Select columns to show, hide, and reorder in the production transaction history table.

Transaction Action Set

Use actions related to viewing inspection results, additional information using descriptive flexfields, and operational data collected from connected equipment.

Export Production Transactions

You can export work orders, flow schedules, and orderless production transactions to an Excel file, allowing you to review and analyze the transaction data offline.
