Include Explanation Messages on Referenced Returns

Display a message that explains the calculations that Oracle Pricing applies on each referenced return.

Realize these benefits:

• Get a history of the discounts that Pricing applied on the original order.

Before update 25C, Pricing used the price that it charged for the original order without explaining how it applied discounts or surcharges. You can now view a message that provides these details when you return a sales order.

Steps to Enable

Use the Opt In UI to enable this feature. For instructions, refer to the Optional Uptake of New Features section of this document.

You can view the message on the pricing waterfall in the Order Management work area when you create a referenced return, in a REST API response, and so on.
