Utilize Additional Healthcare Attributes and New Synchronization Capabilities

You can use the following additional attributes available in the healthcare attribute library:

• Product Physical State
• Device Class
• Submission Type
• Contains DI Package
• Implant Type
• No. Of Usages

You can synchronize per usage cost for an item with Oracle Health using the No. Of Usages attribute. The Synchronize Items with Oracle Health scheduled process calculates the per usage cost for an item by dividing the Last Contract Price value by the No. Of Usage value.

Also, you can use the Oracle Health spoke system to publish the Related Items item relationships as shown in the following screenshot.

This feature benefits your business by providing the following:

• Extended ability to innately store healthcare related attributes
• Extend the Oracle Health integration to sync:
  • Per usage cost of products to help generate patient invoices
  • Provide Substitute and Superseeded items for products during case picking

Access Requirements

Users who are assigned a configured job role that contains these privileges can access this feature:

• View Healthcare Extensible Flexfields (ORA_HC_EFF_VIEW_PRIV)
• Manage Healthcare Extensible Flexfields (ORA_HC_EFF_EDIT_PRIV)
• Manage Item Source System (EGI_MANAGE_ITEM_SOURCE_SYSTEM)
• Publish Item (EGI_PUBLISH_ITEM)
