Redwood: Update Negotiation without Amendment
In the Redwood UI, a new 'Update' action is now available to provide a streamlined way to manage active negotiations without creating an amendment. This allows you to make internal updates to the negotiation without impacting or notifying your suppliers.
Here are some of the key enhancements in the Redwood experience compared to the classic application:
- You can modify internal descriptive flexfields (DFFs) values
- Add or delete internal attachments at the header, line, and requirement level
- Adjust the current price on negotiation lines
Additionally, as part of the Update action, you can continue to take these actions that are available in the classic application:
- Add new internal requirements or delete existing internal requirements
- Change the weight and knockout score for external requirements
- Add new collaboration team members or change the capabilities of existing members as needed
You can also invite additional suppliers to an active negotiation through the action 'Manage Suppliers'. The suppliers are notified and can begin responding, same as the original invited suppliers. You can also change the supplier contact for an already invited supplier.
