Redwood: View Lifecycle Activities
Track negotiation activities performed by suppliers in a timeline with precise timestamps throughout the negotiation lifecycle. You can also view the activities in a table and download the entire activity log in MS Excel. All logged activities of suppliers and internal users are available next to one another for efficient lifecycle monitoring.The Redwood activity tracking page is also enhanced to show activities from all amendments and negotiation rounds, allowing buyers to get a comprehensive view of the negotiation events and its progressions across versions.
The activities timeline is accessed through the View Lifecycle Activities action on the negotiation page. You can choose to see supplier and internal activities in a timeline view or switch to a tabular view for more detailed analysis. Apply filters to show activities for specific suppliers, or for a date range. You can also filter for specific activities to view which suppliers have performed actions such as accepted terms, or created a draft response. There’s also a quick search option to find a specific supplier and view their activities in a negotiation.

When viewing a summary of activities performed by suppliers in the negotiation lifecycle you have the option to lock or unlock a supplier's access to the negotiation. You can also search and invite additional suppliers to the negotiation.

In this update you can also switch between negotiation rounds with just one click, making it much easier to track lifecycle activities across all rounds efficiently.
View Activities across Rounds of a Negotiation
It's critical in the sourcing business process to track supplier activities and provide a historical account of supplier actions for audit purposes, which brings transparency to the event. It also provides details that help category managers assist suppliers during a negotiation, and ensure compliance.
Steps to Enable
To use this feature, you must enable the profile option Redwood Page for Sourcing Overview Enabled (ORA_PON_SOURCING_REDWOOD_ENABLED). By default, this profile option is disabled. If this profile option was already enabled in a prior release, you don't need to enable it again.
To enable the profile option, follow these steps:
- In the Setup and Maintenance work area, search and select the Manage Administrator Profile Values task.
- On the Manage Administrator Profile Values page, search for and select the profile option name or code.
- Set the Profile Value to Y.
- Click Save and Close. Changes in the profile value will affect users the next time they sign in.
Tips And Considerations
- You can zoom into the timeline view to have a granular look at all the activities performed.
- Hover over timeline entries for detailed timestamps and click them to see more details.
- The export summary of supplier activities now includes whether the supplier is locked out or not.
- When you open this page, the supplier activities timeline is displayed by default. To make the buyer activity the default view, administrators can configure page properties in Visual Builder.

Access Requirements
Users who are assigned a configured job role that contains these privileges and meets any of the following data security conditions can access the View Lifecycle Activities page in Sourcing.
Privileges:
- Monitor Supplier Negotiation (PON_MONITOR_SUPPLIER_NEGOTIATION_PRIV)
- View Supplier Negotiation (PON_VIEW_SUPPLIER_NEGOTIATION_PRIV)
- Lock Negotiation Supplier Out (PON_LOCK_NEGOTIATION_SUPPLIER_OUT_PRIV)
Data security conditions (any of the following):
- They are the owner of a negotiation.
- They are a member of the collaboration team with full, or view access.
- They have procurement agent access(full or view) to manage negotiations.
