Redwood: Use and Configure Redwood-Style Catalog Authoring FYI Notifications

Send the catalog authoring required and complete FYI notifications in a Redwood style and format. 

Oracle Analytics Publisher allows you to configure the notification content to meet your specific business requirements -- use the Catalog Authoring Required Notification Report and Catalog Authoring Complete Notification Report to configure these notifications.

The Catalog Authoring Required FYI Notification is sent to the supplier to ask them to provide the catalog content. The Catalog Authoring Complete FYI Notification is sent to the buyer when the supplier takes the Transfer to Buyer action.

Steps to Enable

Use the Opt In UI to enable this feature. For instructions, refer to the Optional Uptake of New Features section of this document.

Offering: Procurement

After you enable the feature, follow these steps to configure the template for catalog authoring required and complete FYI notifications:

1. Sign in to the Analytics Publisher server directly (for example: http://hostname.com:7001/xmlpserver) and click the Catalog tab.
2. In the Folders pane, locate the Catalog Authoring Required Notification Report or Catalog Authoring Complete Notification Report under this path: Shared Folders > Procurement > Purchasing. Click More and then click Customize. This creates a copy of the template in the Shared Folders > Custom > Procurement > Purchasing folder.
3. Access this template in the Custom folder. 
4. Edit the template with your required changes. 
5. Upload the template (select the appropriate locale for your instance). 
6. For these templates, the data model is Purchase Agreement Notification Data Model.

Tips And Considerations

The seeded report template is configured to hide notification attributes if they have no data.
