Calculate and Track Product Costs when Using an Item Multiple Times in a Discrete Work Order Operation
If you use an item multiple times in a discrete work order operation or in a flow schedule, you can now calculate your product costs and cost the transactions. Additionally, if you use standard cost, you can track variances by the item and basis type.

Variances Reported by Component and Basis Type
This feature helps increase the accuracy of products costs by including the costs of repeating items in an operation.
Steps to enable and configure
You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.
Tips and considerations
There are no steps to enable this feature in Oracle Cost Management. To use an item multiple times in a discrete manufacturing work definition or in flow schedule in Oracle Manufacturing, you'll need to enable the Allow repeated consumption of materials in discrete work orders and flow schedules plant parameter.
