Use Extensibility Capabilities

You can now use the extensibility capabilities that are supported in the Redwood Self Service Procurement application. With this update, you can extend the application as listed here:

  • Home Page
    • Show or hide the Ask AI action.
    • Set the default deliver-to location in the preferences.
    • Personalize the Supplier contextual information drawer.
      • Show or hide the Supplier site and Contact sections, including the attributes within each section, based on additional attribute conditions defined in business rules.
      • Enable or disable the supplier link.
  • Shopping Cart
    • Use additional attributes as conditions in business rules to show or hide the Description and Justification attributes. These include:
      • Functional Currency Code.
      • Requisition Amount.
      • Recoverable Tax.
      • Nonrecoverable Tax.
      • Approval Amount. 
    • Support reordering of sections in the Line details drawer.
  • Delivery and Billing Details
    • Show or hide distribution totals.
    • Show or hide columns in the Distribution table. 

  • Edit Multiple Lines
    • Support reorder of sections

Steps to enable and configure

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Tips and considerations

  • Oracle Visual Builder Studio: You must extend the Redwood Self Service Procurement application in the Express mode only.
  • Extensibility is limited to the features mentioned in the Extending the Redwood Self Service Procurement Application document. Don't make other extension changes, as they won't be compatible with future updates, and the pages won't render correctly.
  • The base application for your Oracle Cloud Instance is Procurement. You may need this while creating a project to extend your application.
