Allow a Value of Zero for Amount-based lines
You can now enter amount-based requisition lines with a value of zero. This enhancement supports scenarios where items or services, such as included warranties, are provided at no additional cost, allowing you to accurately represent no-charge items during requisition entry.
Here are some of the considerations for using this feature:
- Enhanced Flexibility: Accurately capture scenarios where items or services are provided free of charge, such as complimentary warranties or bundled offers.
- Improved Usability: Eliminate the need for workarounds or manual adjustments when handling zero-cost items in requisitions.
- Greater Accuracy: Ensure requisition data reflects the actual cost of goods or services, supporting clearer procurement records.
Steps to enable and configure
You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.
Tips and considerations
- This feature isn't supported for Requisition Import.
- Amount-based lines with a value of zero can have only one distribution.
