Manage pricing parameters

Redwood Platform

Use the redesigned Pricing Parameters page to manage pricing parameters in Pricing with the same underlying functionality as the existing classic Manage Pricing Parameters page.

Provides a modern, consistent setup experience for maintaining parameters that govern pricing behavior, helping administrators keep item validation, catalog selection, error reporting, and pricing data import processing aligned with business requirements.

Search for a parameter by name or description, and then open the parameter to review and update its values. Parameters remain predefined: You can modify parameter values, but you can't create or delete parameters.

Navigation: In the Setup and Maintenance work area, open the Manage Pricing Parameters task.

Start on the redesigned Pricing Parameters page, where you can search for existing pricing parameter. Select a pricing parameter to open it:

Tips and considerations

  • Set Algorithm Exception Details to Full only when troubleshooting because it can return more error information than you typically need.

  • Set Default Price Periodicity UOM Class to the UOM class used for recurring charge frequency attributes, such as time for weekly, monthly, or quarterly values.

  • You can select a primary catalog only if it’s included in Product Catalogs.

  • Specify at least one item validation organization, including an All Business Units entry, to view items in the Pricing Administration work area.
