Selected Product Management bug fixes In this update

This update includes some bug fixes that can change the way Oracle Fusion Cloud Product Lifecycle Management works. This isn't a full list of all the bug fixes in this update. This list includes the bug fixes that can cause a noticeable change in application behavior.

Find objects associated with an item

Before update 26D, you couldn't easily find specific changes, problem reports, and corrective actions associated with an item.

With update 26D, you can use the search filters on the Changes and Quality tabs to find specific associated objects.

Import obsolete components Using FBDI

Before update 26D, you couldn't import obsolete components into item structures using File-Based Data Import (FBDI). This affected data migration when legacy item structures contained obsolete components, preventing you from preserving existing structure definitions.

With update 26D, this issue is fixed. You can now import obsolete components into item structures using FBDI by enabling the EGP_CONVERSION_MODE profile option.

Import item structures with inactive organizations
Before update 26D, importing an item structure that included an inactive organization association and a common structure prevented the application from propagating structure changes to the common structure. Although the import completed successfully, the process logs included an error message stating that the structure changes were not propagated, which could be misinterpreted as an import failure.

With update 26D, the import process no longer logs the misleading error message. However, structure changes are still not propagated to the common structure when the item has an inactive organization association. Additionally, this reduces unnecessary error reporting and helps users focus on, actionable import issues while preserving the existing structure propagation logic.

Search results for manufacturers
Before update 26D, when you performed a search for manufacturers it returned incorrect results because the search results page retained the previous selection count instead of updating it to reflect the latest search results. . For example, if you selected three manufacturers and then performed another search with a single manufacturer selected, the search results page displayed 3 of 1 selected instead of 1.

With Update 26D, the search results page updates the selection count to reflect the current search results.

Attachment column configurations in workflows

Before update 26D, preferences in Attachments tab on workflows such as change orders, change requests, problem reports, corrective actions, and new item requests were not retained after saving. Any reordered or hidden columns reverted to the previous layout, requiring you to reconfigure them each time.

With update 26D, attachment column configurations are preserved after save and reopen. You can reorder or hide columns, and the table retains that layout.
