Customer Portal: Framework Version 3.11 is Available
With the August 2024 release of Oracle B2C Service, we have upgraded our support of Customer Portal to framework version 3.11. Previously supported framework version 3.10 will be continued to be supported for the time being.
The version 3.11 version upgrade includes security enhancements and PHP version upgrade support,
PHP Version 8.3 Support:
- Admins can choose between the 5.6 and 8.3 versions of the PHP framework.
- PHP 8.3 provides better security and stability, and upgrading to PHP 8.3 is expected to have impacts on customizations and widgets.
The version also includes the deprecation announcements of Basic Page Set and Facebook Self-Service functionalities.
Business Value:
Remain on the most current & supported version of Customer Portal in order to uptake necessary updates and new features for:
- Enhanced security
- Modernisation of Framework
