Analytics: Asynchronous execution of Large Reports in BUI

The Async Report Execution feature enhances the handling of big reports within the Browser User Interface (BUI). Instead of interrupting agents with a 30-second timeout to confirm queuing and navigating to My Queued reports to view the report, the system automatically queues large reports based on historical performance and processes them in the background.

With an extended timeout of 30 minutes, large reports are seamlessly processed without disrupting the agent's workflow. Once processed, the report is rendered directly in the same UI tab, ensuring agents don't need to switch tabs or navigate to My Queued Reports to view the report once it's ready.

Steps to Enable

  1. Upgrade to Release 25B to activate Async Report Execution in BUI.
  2. Raise an SR to enable this feature in their site. (From 25C, the admin will be able to enable this feature by themselves by setting the config verb "REPORT_ASYNC_EXECUTION_ENABLED" value to true )

NOTE: By default, the system flags reports with an execution time of 15 seconds or more for async processing. If needed, administrators can raise a Service Request (SR) to adjust the threshold, with the allowable range being 5 to 25 seconds.
