Navigation Assistance
Effective from 25B, a notification alerts you when an activity location is approximate on the My Route screen. The message 'Activity location is approximate' appears under the Navigate button, indicating that you may need more precise information before strating travel.
Clarify Location Before Navigation
If the permission Enable Navigation Assistance is selected on the Configuration > User Types page, you will be prompted to specify the exact location when attempting to Navigate to an activity with an approximate location. The navigation page allows you to:
- Search for an address.
- Review suggested locations.
- Manually set a pin on the map.
This feature is available only for activities in Pending or En Route status. The Navigate button remains disabled until an exact location is selected.
After selecting Navigate from My Route or Activity Details:
- Activity coordinates are updated.
- Coordinate accuracy is set to High.
- The navigation app opens and directs to the updated location.
- The activity address remains unchanged.
