Namespaces for Projects and Deployments

Projects and deployments can now be managed within namespaces. A project can be:

• branched into a namespace without renaming the project or any of its dependencies (such as inclusions and decision service references)
• deployed into multiple namespaces on the same Hub, each with the same project name.

This provides isolation between multiple streams of development/deployment on the same Hub, for example, separating streams for the currently released version and the next version under development.

Steps to Enable

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Tips And Considerations

The namespace in the deployment URL allows all versions to be used simultaneously.

Note that the namespace column is not shown on the Projects and Deployments page unless there is at least one project or deployment in a namespace.
