Chat in Browser UI: Status Indicator for Language Translation

The new Status Indicator for Chat Language Translation gives agents real-time insight into the status of the translation. A "Translating..." message appears in the live chat session when a translation is in progress. Once the translation is complete, the indicator disappears and the translated message is delivered, as usual.

• An AI Service to provide the proofreading functionality
• Engagement Panel v19+ is required for this feature. Please contact Jessica Bradley <[e-mail]> to have your site updated
• External Objects is enabled for your site
• Versioning Service is enabled for your site
• The Chat Language Translation feature is enabled for your site, interface and the related agent profile
• This feature does not require a CX upgrade
• This feature does not require a feature flag
• This feature is available in the BUI SEPT II release, available on non-production sites SEPT 05th 2025 and on production sites SEPT 19th 2025
