iOS Voice Command Collaboration
The Oracle Fusion Field Service native iOS app now enables mobile workers to interact with collaboration messages using hands-free voice commands through Siri. With this feature, mobile workers can reply to, send, and check messages while en route — enhancing productivity and safety, especially during travel or fieldwork.
You can use Siri voice commands to:
-
Reply to collaboration messages hands-free.
-
Send new one-to-one collaboration messages.
-
Ask Siri to read your unread collaboration messages.
While your route is active, you can activate Siri and use voice commands such as:
-
Hey Siri, reply to my latest Field Service message.
-
Hey Siri, send a message to John in Field Service.
-
Hey Siri, do I have any new messages in Field Service?
Voice commands are not available when your route is inactive.
Use Cases
-
Hands-free messaging while driving: Safely respond to or send messages while commuting between job sites without taking your hands off the wheel.
-
On-site communication: Use voice commands to coordinate with colleagues or request support while performing tasks that require both hands, such as handling equipment or tools.
-
Checking updates on the go: Ask Siri to read your unread collaboration messages while en route or at a job site, ensuring you stay informed of any changes or updates without interrupting work.
-
Efficient escalation: If an issue arises during a job, quickly inform a supervisor or relevant colleague through a voice message without needing to stop and type.
