Net Usage and Delivered and Sent Data Views for Solar Customers in Data Browser
Residential solar customers on net metering rates can access net usage electricity data as well as delivered and sent electricity data in the Data Browser. The net usage data is located under the Net tab, which appears below the date range. The delivered and sent data is located under the Delivered + Sent tab. “Delivered” refers to energy delivered to the customer's premise, whereas “sent” refers to energy the customer’s solar generation sent to the energy grid. Access to both usage insights within Data Browser provides customers with a better understanding of their energy use, and allows them to make more informed energy-saving decisions.

Utilities can customize the types of data available to customers in the Data Browser:
- Net usage data only
- Delivered and sent data only
- Net usage and delivered and sent data
Utilities can use this feature to provide residential solar customers on net metering rates with access to their net usage electricity data as well as their delivered and sent electricity data in the Data Browser.
Steps to Enable
Contact your Service Delivery Manager to coordinate configuration of the module. To contact your Service Delivery Manager:
- Log in to Inside Opower (https://inside.opower.com). This is your portal for questions and information related to your program.
- Go to the Community tab and contact the Service Delivery Manager using the information provided.
