Baseline and Rebate Calculations for Peak Time Rebates

Peak Time Rebate programs include in-house savings and rebate calculation capabilities. This update allows Oracle Utilities Opower to calculate how much energy each customer saved and how much of a rebate they earned during a Peak Time Rebate event based on their typical usage. The calculation parameters are configurable, and savings and rebate data are automatically shared with the utility within 2-3 business days of a Peak Time Rebate event. Utilities have the option of performing their own baseline and rebate calculations.

This update enhances the Peak Time Rebate value for utilities, by removing the need for third-party vendors to manage their savings and rebate calculations.

Steps to Enable

To enable and configure this feature, complete these steps:

  1. Log in to Inside Opower (https://inside.opower.com). This is your portal for questions and information related to your program.
  2. Go to the Community tab and contact the Service Delivery Manager using the information provided to coordinate enablement and configuration of this feature.
