Start of Restoration and Available Crews

The Start of Restoration (SOR) date, and Available Crews will be specified for each zone during model creation. Previously, the zone SORs were assumed to be the date of the first actual restoration. In this release, the application treats zone SOR as the date that restoration work begins. The application now captures zone SORs on the Affected Zones step of the Create Model guided process and uses zone SORs in the new logic for prediction pre-storm outages and restorations. The same Affected Zones step also allows users to input Available Crews per zone and these numbers are used in the Crew Schedules table on the ERT Details step.

This allows the application to more accurately predict outages and restorations based on similar storms.
