Subscription Notification Parameters

For account-level and service agreement-level template-based Subscription notification types, you can define notification parameters to capture additional preference information and identify required values. The Notification Parameters section is displayed when Use Service Task is not selected and at least one valid ad hoc or predefined characteristic type is available for the selected notification level.  The system stores parameter values as characteristics on the related account-level or service agreement-level preference.

This feature supports subscription notification processing by enabling the capture of required preference information.

Steps to enable and configure

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Tips and considerations

A characteristic type must be configured for the Notification Preference (Account) or Notification Preference (SA) characteristic entity to be available for the corresponding notification level.
