Configurable Application of Minimum and Maximum Charge Calculation Rules

You can now configure Maximum Charge and Minimum Charge rate calculation rules using the Execution Option setting to apply the rule once for the entire billing period or separately for each usage period. This is particularly important when service agreements are billed using billing determinants with date breaks, where a single billing period can contain multiple usage periods.

This improves billing accuracy for bills with multiple usage periods, reducing exceptions and rework.

Steps to enable and configure

To enable and configure this feature, set the Execution Option setting to 'Once' on applicable Minimum and Maximum Charge rate calculation rules if the calculation rule should be applied only once for the entire billing period, or to 'Always' if the rule should be applied separately for each usage period.
