Notification communication preferences are currently captured at the customer account level. This release introduces the underlying objects and initial attributes to support, in a future release, storing and querying notification communication preferences at a more granular level (for example, service agreement) including:

  • New SA Communication Preference (C1_NTF_PREF_SA) maintenance object and related business object.
  • New Notification Level attribute on Subscription and Parent Push notification types defaulted to ‘Account’ (implementations should not update this setting). In a future release, this attribute will be used to indicate whether a Subscription or Parent Push template-based notification type supports service agreement level preferences.

NOTE: This release does not include user interfaces, processes, or APIs to create or maintain service agreement-level preferences. Those capabilities are planned for a future release.

This will enable, in a future release, more targeted communications for specific notification types for specific services within an account.
