Meter Passthrough Data in Object Storage

Utilities can receive meter passthrough data in object storage, similar to the existing process for receiving AMI usage data. Data from the utility’s head-end system is routed through Meter Solution Cloud Service (MSCS) or Meter Data Management (MDM), copied for processing, transformed into an open table format, and delivered to the utility’s object storage location for direct access. This capability supports meter channels such as voltage, power factor, and other telemetry that may not need to be stored in MSCS or MDM, but can still be made available for analysis.  

This feature helps utilities use important meter telemetry without requiring them to store all channels in MSCS or MDM, making advanced analytics easier to support.
