Improved List of ILM Managed Maintenance Objects

Previously, the maintenance objects included in the ILM Managed Maintenance Objects section were only those that have an ILM Eligibility Algorithm, but this is not the only method by which a high volume maintenance object can be managed by the ILM functionality. Some maintenance objects will not have an eligibility algorithm for performance reasons. Instead, they are designed with a specific ILM crawler batch process with built-in ILM eligibility rules. There are other cases where there may not be an ILM eligibility algorithm or an ILM crawler batch control. For example, a snapshot maintenance object that is never updated and therefore its ILM_SW can be set when the entity is created.

These additional ILM managed maintenance objects are now also included in the ILM Managed Maintenance Objects list.

The more accurate list of all maintenance objects that can be managed by ILM helps to improve visibility around high volume data management options.
