Press 6 to Enroll in Peak Event Text Messaging

Customers can opt in to Behavioral Demand Response text notifications from their pre-event and post-event voice messages. At the end of the pre-event and post-event voice messages, the customer is prompted to press 6 to opt in for text notifications about future peak days. 

This update makes it easier for customers to enroll in pre-event and post-event text notifications, increases awareness and engagement with peak events, and boosts SMS channel enrollment.

Steps to Enable

Contact your Service Delivery Manager to coordinate configuration of the module. To contact your Service Delivery Manager:

  1. Log in to Inside Opower (https://inside.opower.com). This is your portal for questions and information related to your program.
  2. Go to the Community tab and contact the Service Delivery Manager using the information provided.
