Redwood Sales Account Extension

You can now access the Customer Experience for Utilities Sales Account 360 as an embedded sub-view of the Redwood Sales Account Overview screen. Prior to this release, Account 360 was a separate page. Now, using the embedded subview, you can use the conversational Smart Action bar to perform various account actions, including navigating to a utility billing account, viewing all contacts for an account, or editing billing accounts associated with leads, opportunities, and service requests.

From the Business List, when you click an account name, the system now opens Account 360 in the new sub-view, while retaining the standard Redwood Sales account header and metadata. The same information that was available in prior releases is available here; however, the means of navigating to Redwood Sales features has changed by displaying the sales actions along the bottom of the Account 360 screen. Additionally, navigating to utility-specific tasks, such as accessing a specific billing account or adding billing accounts and premises to a lead, opportunity, or service request, can now be done using the Smart Action bar.

This feature improves the user experience of navigating between Customer Experience for Utilities functionality and core Redwood Sales functionality through the use of common navigation patterns, such as the Smart Action bar. This feature also reduces the number of new browser tabs that open as you complete sales-related tasks. Both changes enable Key Account Managers to work more efficiently.

Steps to Enable

To enable this feature, complete these steps:

  1. Add the Utilities Account 360 sub-view to the Account Details page.
  2. Add utility-related fields to the Account Header in the Account Details page.

See the Implementing CX for Utilities Guide for additional information about this setup.
