Expanded Service Type Support
You can now control the order in which service types are presented in the Account 360 screens. Additionally, you can display data for flat-rate services such as refuse. This feature helps support key account managers at utilities that support more than one service type, such as electric, water, wastewater, and refuse.
For example, if your utility supports both water and refuse services, and the majority of your sales team is working with refuse accounts, you might decide to display refuse as the first service type in the Account 360 screens. Additionally, if refuse is a flat-rate service that charges the same amount each month, and no measurements are done that impact the charge, you can set up your system to hide usage usage data for these flat-rate service contracts.
This feature gives utilities more control over the service types and usage experiences that are presented to key account managers.
Steps to Enable
To enable this feature, complete these steps:
- Update the Service Types reference type to specify that a service type is a flat-measure service type, and to specify the order in which it should appear in Account 360.
- Update the Unit of Measure reference type to specify the order in which units of measure should appear in Account 360.
See "Customer Experience for Utilities Reference Type Configurations" in the Implementing CX for Utilities Guide for additional information about this setup.
