Overview of Working with Certifications

Whether a role is appropriately assigned to a user is a decision made outside of Oracle Fusion Cloud Access Certifications. You're free to determine your criteria for certifying role assignments.

Among those criteria, for example, you may create controls or provisioning rules in Oracle Fusion Cloud Advanced Controls. You may then make a practice of declining to certify role assignments that violate those controls or rules.

Within the application, however:

• Direct managers, if they're invited to participate, make certification recommendations in My Team worksheets.
• Certifiers record their certification decisions in certifier worksheets.
• Role managers and owners review certifiers' decisions, and oversee certification projects, in overview pages.
• Owners, role managers, and certifiers may view documents attached to a certification during initiation. In worksheets they can access, they may also attach documents to individual user-role combinations, and view them.
