Change Criteria in a Credit Rule

Duplicate a credit rule to change transaction matching criteria. End date the original rule with the old qualifying criteria.

  1. Navigate to the Participant Assignments work area.
  2. In the task menu, click Manage Direct Credit Rules.
  3. Search for and select the rule you want to change.
  4. In the Actions menu, click Duplicate.
  5. Add a prefix or suffix to modify the name for the new rule.
  6. Enter the start and end dates for the modified rule. If the rule has a parent, the dates must fall within the parent's start and end dates.
  7. Change the check boxes if needed:
    • Enabled
    • Include Child Nodes
    • Included Qualifying Criteria
    • Include Assignments
  8. Save and close.
  9. Open the original rule and change the end date for the rule and save.
  10. Open your new duplicate rule and change the rule criteria.
  11. Save and close.
  12. Run the Deploy Credit Rules process.
