Export Setup Assistant Data to Another Environment

You can export your entries in Setup Assistant to a JSON file, which you can then import into another environment. You can move your initial entries from your test environment to production, for example. Here's how.

  1. Click the Export Data button on the Setup Assistant landing page.
  2. Save the exported JSON file on your desktop.

  3. Open the Setup and Maintenance work area in the environment where you want to import and go to the Setup Assistant task:

    • Offering: Sales

    • Functional Area: Company Profile

    • Task: Setup Assistant

  4. In the Setup Assistant page, click Use Excel Spreadsheet.

  5. Upload the file.

  6. Click Import Data.
