Overview of Setup Before You Create Sales Users

Because the Setup Assistant does most of the required prep work for you, only the first setup step listed here is required for users who will access Digital Sales UIs. It's also recommended that you provision all your users with a custom version of the Employee abstract role (step 2). Optionally, you can create additional resource roles and provisioning rules outside the Setup Assistant.

If you don't want to run Setup Assistant again, you can create additional resource roles manually using the Manage Resource Roles task.
