Use direct quote-to-order to start the transition from a finalized quote to a sales order. Then, track the real-time status of the fulfillment process for the order.

Overview of Direct Quote-to-Order

With this feature, a drawer in the Quote details page gives you get immediate visibility into the order booking progress. Efficiently convert large numbers of quotes – even those with 100-plus line items – into orders. The system handles the heavy lifting in the background, so that you can keep working on other tasks while the order is created.

Create and Prepare a Quote Using Direct Quote-to-Order

Here's how you create and prepare a quote using direct quote-to-order:

1. In Redwood Sales, navigate to Accounts and select a customer record.
2. In the Accounts overview page, create or select an existing opportunity.
3. From the Opportunity details page, go to the Ask Oracle search bar and search for Create Quote. This will move you to Quote details page.
4. On the Quote details page, ensure that the your transaction details are correct:
   1. Select Add Products to browse the catalog.
   2. Select items add them.
5. Save your changes.

Configure Product Bundles Using Direct Quote-to-Order

Here's how you configure product bundles using direct quote-to-order:

1. For each item that you want to configure, select the Configure icon (the gear icon) to open the Model Configuration page.
2. Select the bundles required for the deal.
3. Select Update to recalculate totals.
4. Select Save to return to the quote.
5. Use the Associate Product action to link specific hardware or service items to the configuration.
6. Save your changes.
