Set Up Adaptive Search

The Partner Finder application uses the Adaptive Search functionality through REST API to provide an efficient search and filter capability.

Enable Adaptive Search

First, you must enable Adaptive Search. Next, you must enable the Partner object for Adaptive Search. If you have already done this, then you can skip straight to configuring your display, search, and filter attributes.

Configure Display, Search and Filter Attributes

To run the default Partner Finder, configure the display, search, and filter attributes in Adaptive Search.

  1. Display attributes are shown in the Partner Card in the Partner Finder Search Results page.

  2. Search attributes can be used to search for a partner in the Partner Finder page.

  3. Filter attributes can be used to filter the partners in the Partner Finder Search Results page.

Use the below table as reference to make the required configurations for these Adaptive Search settings:

  • Enable: You must enable an attribute if you want that attribute to be available in the partner search, filter, or results card.

  • Analyzed Text Search: This is required to enable attributes to be searched as individual words during partner search.

  • Include in Keyword Search: This is required for attributes to be enabled for partner search.

Test Your Search Settings

After configuring the display, search, and filter attributes, you can test your adaptive search setup in the Oracle CX Sales Workspace UI by searching for partners.
