Can I create a non-monetary earning type for plan components?

You can create a non-monetary earning type in Setup and Maintenance.

1. In the Setup and Maintenance work area, go to the following:

   • Offering: Sales
   • Functional Area: Incentives
   • Task: Manage Earning Types

2. For each business unit that you need, create an earning type called Non-monetary.

3. Important: Don’t set up any currency code for this earning type.

You can then associate plan components with this non-monetary earning type in the Compensation Plans work area.
