How can I change the From address for emails sent using the Send Email smart action from Oracle Sales in the Redwood User Experience?

You can change the From email address in outbound emails by setting the profile option Use an Oracle E-Mail Address as the Sender in the Service Application (SVC_OUTBOUND_EMAIL_ORACLE_SENDER) to No, and entering the email address in the profile option Service Application From Address for Outbound E-mail (SVC_OUTBOUND_EMAIL_FROM). Here are the details.

  1. In Setup and Maintenance work area, open the Manage Administrator Profile Values task in the Sales offering (Sales Foundation > Manage Administrator Profile Values).
  2. Search for the profile option code SVC_OUTBOUND_EMAIL_ORACLE_SENDER and set it to No at the site level.
  3. Search for the profile option code SVC_OUTBOUND_EMAIL_FROM and enter the email address you want to use as the From address on outbound emails.
  4. To ensure the email address doesn't get classified as spam, create a service request asking Oracle support to add a DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) signature to the Sender Policy Framework (SPF).
