How can I change an existing error message?

You can create messages and change predefined messages stored in the message dictionary. Here's how to edit a predefined message or a message that you created.

1. In the Setup and Maintenance work area, go to the Manage Messages task.

2. On the Manage Messages page, search for and select an existing message that you want to modify.

3. Click the Edit icon.
4. On the Edit Message page, change the existing details according to your specific requirements.
   Note: Don't edit the message number for predefined messages.
5. Click Save and Close.
