How do I give view-only access to users in accounts and contacts?
You might want to make it so some users have view-only access in the accounts and contacts screens.
You can achieve this setup by copying their user role and removing, from the copied role, the permissions to create and delete accounts and contacts. As a final step, you create an access group with conditions to grant access that meets the conditions of rules to the users in a rule group.
The privileges to create sales accounts and contacts are:
- Create Sales Account
- Create Sales Party Contact
The privileges to delete sales accounts and contacts are:
- Delete Sales Party
- Delete Sales Party Contact
