How do I stop approval of a contract clause or terms template?
You can withdraw contract clauses or terms templates from in the Terms Library. To withdraw a single clause from approval, use the Stop Approval page-level action while editing a clause.
This stops approval of all draft clauses submitted for approval with the terms template and reverts their status to Draft.
Stop approval doesn't affect clauses that are already approved or pending approval in that terms template. These remain approved and pending approval in the Terms Library.
If you withdraw clauses that are in localization, the adoption type is also reverted to its previous state, Available for Adoption.
Note: You can only use the Stop Approval action if you're
administrator, the creator, or the owner of the task. And the task can't be in a
"terminal" state like completed, deleted, expired, withdrawn, and so on.
