What can I do if the "What's Around Me?" mapping feature isn't working in CX Sales Mobile?

For the What's Around Me? feature to work, you must ensure that the address and geolocation attributes for Account, Contact, and Lead are selected for Object Reference in Adaptive Search setup.

  1. Make sure the feature is set up as described in the topic How do I set up the "What's Around Me?" maps feature?
  2. Navigate to the Setup and Maintenance work area, and open the Configure Adaptive Search task:

    • Offering: Sales

    • Functional Area: Sales Foundation

    • Show: All Tasks

    • Task: Configure Adaptive Search

  3. On the Configure Adaptive Search page, Setup tab, click Advanced.

  4. In the left pane select the appropriate path, make sure the attribute is enabled, and then select the Include in Object Reference option to enable the field for search in related objects and in CX Sales Mobile.

  5. Click Publish. Publishing triggers an indexing process that you can monitor by clicking the Monitor tab and then the Publish subtab. Your new configuration is available when the indexing process completes.
